The Village’s contractor, Globe Construction Inc., will begin the removal and replacement of sidewalk squares, curbs and driveway aprons beginning the week of April 8th. The work will be carried out throughout the Village over a period of two weeks, weather permitting. The purpose of the work is to remove trip hazards and ensure that the sidewalks are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and safe for residents to use.
Public Works staff have informed residents impacted and provided them overnight parking passes. All vehicles parked on the street overnight must display a parking permit issued by the Village.
