The Village has launched a new online reporting platform called SeeClickFix. This tool allows users to report their concerns directly to the Village by using an online map or an application on their smartphones.
With the free SeeClickFix app and web tools, citizens can now provide Village staff with pictures, specific descriptions, and more information needed to get the job done efficiently. In addition, the SeeClickFix platform provides the Village with a centralized management system to manage concerns from creation to resolution—engaging citizens throughout the process.
“The Village was eager to find a tool to enhance the service request process for our citizens and improve the communication with residents pertaining to issues within the community,” shared Public Works Director Carl Goldsmith. “The SeeClickFix platform helps us meet the needs of our community and ensure requests and concerns are addressed promptly and transparently.”
As part of the new platform, the existing Citizen Request Tracker on the Village’s Report a Concern page has been replaced by SeeClickFix, which will provide enhanced mobile accessibility and internal efficiency for responding to citizen concerns.
The SeeClickFix mobile app is available for download on Android and iPhone. In addition to the mobile app, residents can report concerns on the Village’s website at www.villageoflombard.org/reportaconcern. SeeClickFix is for non-emergency issues only.
