The Village of Lombard Board of Trustees formally approved its Strategic Plan for 2021-2024 on December 16, 2021.
The plan establishes a vision, mission, and guiding principles for the organization, and identifies priorities focused on advancing Lombard towards its vision. It also provides a blueprint and guide to align the budget process, capital improvement plan, important policy decisions, economic development initiatives, and public safety priorities moving forward.
The 2021-2024 Strategic Plan consists of five strategic priorities, identified as greatest importance to the Village of Lombard over the next three years, as follows:
- Financial Sustainability
- Economic Development
- Communication & Community Image
- Operational Excellence
- Well Maintained Infrastructure
