The Village of Lombard is pleased to announce the 2021 Senior Man of the Year George “Ed” Seagraves and the 2021 Senior Woman of the Year Patti Comfort. These Lombard residents have gone above and beyond to give back to our community and have helped make Lombard a great place to live, work, and visit.
The Senior Fair was attended by more than 150 seniors and offered flu shots, massages, COVID-19 boosters, blood pressure screenings, and other critical services. At the event, the two winners and four nominees were presented with their awards and certificates. The nominees included Audrey Schuurmann, Don Comfort, Frank Partipilo, and Steve Watson.
If you missed Lombard’s Services for Seniors event on Oct. 6, you have not completely missed out. There are still promotional bags available for pick-up at Village Hall which contain fun giveaways and information provided by various vendors. Please note, Village Hall walk-in hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
