The Village has performed a preliminary assessment of the damage from the storm yesterday evening (August 10th). Public Works will collect debris from parkway trees. However, debris from private trees must be disposed of through a private contractor or Waste Management. Waste Management requires debris to be stickered in bundles that do not exceed 6 feet in length, 18 inch diameter and 50 pounds.
ComEd is currently reporting multiple outages in Lombard. There are currently more than 90,000 customers in their service territory without power; approximately 30 in Lombard. Estimated time of restoration varies. Residents should contact 1-800-Edison-1 to report any disruptions in service.
