The Lombard Fire Department is launching a new CPR training program in 2026, giving community members the opportunity to learn essential, life-saving skills directly from Lombard firefighters and paramedics.
First CPR Class: February 7, 2026
The Lombard Fire Department will offer its first CPR training class of 2026 on Saturday, February 7, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The class will be held at Lombard Fire Station 45, located at 50 E. St. Charles Road, and is expected to last approximately 3 to 4 hours.
This session will feature Heartsaver CPR training, designed for non-medical individuals. Participants will receive hands-on instruction and practical guidance on how to respond in emergency situations, including:
- CPR and AED use
- Narcan administration
- Responding to choking emergencies
Registration & Cost
- Cost: $25 per participant
- Class size: Minimum of 3 participants; maximum of 10
- Eligibility: Open to the public with no residency or age restrictions
