National EMS Week runs May 18 - 24, 2025. This year's theme is "We Care. For Everyone." National EMS Week unites local communities and medical personnel to promote safety and recognize the commitment of those who deliver vital lifesaving medical services on a daily basis.
The Lombard Fire Department remains one of the busiest in DuPage County, with all firefighters EMS-certified. In 2024, they responded to 8,125 service calls, with 6,250 of those being EMS runs.
