Holiday Recycling Opportunities
- Free Light Recycling Between Nov. 28 through Jan. 15
Recycle your old or unwanted holiday lights, extension cords and scrap wiring this holiday season. The Village of Lombard has partnered with Elgin Recycling to offer residents holiday light recycling from Nov. 28 through Jan. 15, 2024. A collection bin will be located in front of the Public Works building and will be accessible at any time. Please remove any plastic ornamentals and bags from the lights and chords to prevent entangling in the processing machinery—similar to curbside recycling.
- Free Holiday Tree Pick Up
Residents may place holiday trees, free of tinsel and decorations, at their curbsides, January 6-17, for free disposal.
