The Village of Lombard is hosting its annual photo contest during Lilac Time, with this year's theme being "Lombard at Night." The contest will run from May 4 through May 31, 2024, and is open to Lombard residents and visitors.
All photographers, whether amateur or experienced, are encouraged to submit their photos capturing the beauty of Lombard after dark. Whether it's the lively streets of downtown Lombard or a game of baseball at a local park, let your lens capture the charm of Lombard after sunset.
Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. on May 31, 2024. To submit your entry, please include the required release form and send your photograph digitally via email to communications@villageoflombard.org or deliver it on a USB drive to Village Hall at 255 E. Wilson Avenue, Lombard.
The Community Relations Committee will judge photographs, and winners will be contacted via email and announced on the Village's Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages on Friday, June 14, 2024.
The first-place winner will receive a gift card valued at $100, the second-place winner will receive a gift card valued at $50, and the third-place winner will receive a gift card valued at $25.The winning photographs will be displayed on the Village website and social media platforms, and may also be used in future promotional materials.
