The Village of Lombard is aware of increased national tensions in the wake of last week's riot at the U.S. Capitol and in anticipation of the 2021 Presidential Inauguration.
While there is no indication that our community will be impacted by unrest, demonstrations, or criminal acts related to these events, Lombard Police are continuing to monitor intelligence for any situations that may arise.
The Village implores all residents to treat one another with kindness and respect at all times. As neighbors, it’s important to remember that we have far more things in common with each other, than things that divide us.
