The Lombard Village Board approved the 2026 Budget Ordinance, totaling $123,379,037, along with the 2025 Tax Levy Ordinance in the amount of $12,474,037, at their meeting on Dec. 4, 2025. As part of the approval, the Board amended the tax levy so that the increase applies only to new construction.

As a result of this action, the Village’s portion of the property tax levy for existing homeowners will remain the same as last year. Only newly built or newly added construction will see an increase in the Village portion of their tax bill. Residents are reminded that overall property tax bills may still change based on assessments or tax rates from other taxing bodies in the community.
