Calendar

The DuPage River Sweep is an annual cleanup coordinated by The Conservation Foundation. The purpose of the one-day event is to encourage volunteers to “sweep our rivers clean” by removing trash in and along local waterways. 

Participants register and are assigned to a Community Liaison (in Lombard, that’s Dave Gorman, Assistant Director of Public Works, gormand@villageoflombard.org). Lombard volunteers will work at the East Branch Forest Preserve on Swift Road, just north of North Avenue.
