1. When is Cruise Nights in downtown Lombard?

Lombard’s Cruise Nights and Summer Concerts 2020 season takes place on Saturday nights, June 13 - August 29, in downtown Lombard, 6-10 p.m. There is no event on July 4th and in lieu of a concert there will be a family night, hosted by Lombard Town Centre, on July 18.

Music is scheduled from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m., Kids’ Corner is scheduled from 6-9 p.m., and cars are welcome from 6-10 p.m.  Cruise Cars may begin parking as early as 4 p.m., but NOT before 4 p.m. 

2. Where is Lombard Cruise Nights?

The event takes place throughout downtown Lombard, on St. Charles Rd. from Main to Elizabeth. The music/stage area is located at Park Ave. and Michael McGuire Drive. 

3. I am a guest and do not have a Cruise Car. Where do I park?

Guest parking is available in the Metra Commuter lots. 

• Commuter spaces on Michael McGuire Drive (along the north and south sides of the train tracks) 
• Hammerschmidt Lot (east of Main and Saint Charles Rd. intersection)
• Parkside (south of the train tracks along Lilacia Park)

4. What am I allowed to bring into the event?

Guests may bring chairs and set up in the concert viewing area. Sidewalks and door entrances must not be blocked. Outside alcohol is not permitted at the event. 

5. Where is handicapped parking located?

Designated handicapped parking spots are available in the commuter lot on North Park Avenue, just northeast of the intersection of Park Ave. and Saint Charles Rd. Additional spaces are available on Orchard Terrace, one block north of St. Charles on Park Ave., and in the commuter lots, which include: 

• Commuter spaces on Michael McGuire Drive (along the north side of the train tracks - access available from Main Street near viaduct)
• Hammerschmidt Lot (east of Main and Saint Charles)
• Parkside (south of the train tracks along Lilacia Park)
• Private parking lot of 20 North Main (beginning at 4 p.m.)

6. What happens if it rains? Will you post updates about the weather?

Cruise Nights is a rain or shine event, however the risk of severe storms that include wind or lightning strikes, could result in the cancellation or adjusted schedule of the event. The Village’s priority is the safety of its residents and guests.  In a situation where the event could be impacted (delayed start time or cancellation) due to a weather event, updates will be shared on the Cruise Nights Facebook Page, the Village’s Facebook Page, and on Instagram. If you do not have social media, the Village’s Facebook feed is available near the bottom of www.villageoflombard.org.
