What type of fire extinguisher should you keep in your kitchen?

Use an A-B-C extinguisher anywhere in your home. Class "A" is for ordinary combustible materials (wood, paper, and most plastics). Class "B" fires involve flammable or combustible liquids (grease, oil, kerosene or gasoline). Class "C" fires involve electrical equipment such as appliances, wiring, circuit breakers and outlets. An A-B-C extinguisher will cover all possibilities. These can be purchased at local hardware stores.
