Video Gaming Workshop 


The Village Board will host its 2nd workshop regarding video gaming tonight, Thursday, March 7 at 6 p.m., at Village Hall. Workshops and meetings are open to the public. 

Two draft ordinances will be considered. One to amend the Village Code to permit video gaming and the other to provide for a non-binding advisory referendum on the March 2020 ballot. For more information visit villageoflombard.org/videogaming

9 p.m. Routine Prevents Thefts


Getting in the 9 p.m. routine can help prevent a theft. Following this routine every night has been shown to help deter thieves:

  • Remove valuables from car 
  • Ensure windows are rolled up and sunroof is closed
  • Lock car doors and never leave keys in vehicle
  • Conceal garage door openers
  • Do not leave personal information (checks or bank statements) in your car
  • Avoid moving important items to your trunk while in the public view
  • Turn on exterior lights
