The Lombard Police Department has received an influx of resident reports of a phone scam involving Apple. The scammers attempt to solicit password or Apple iCloud information, or convince the victim to purchase a pre-loaded cash card and then provide the scam caller with the card information. Lombard Police are reminding residents to NEVER give information out personal information. More


Winter Blood Drive: Be a Hero

Drive Sober Get Pulled Over

One donation of blood can save up to three lives. The Village's Winter Blood Drive is on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Yorktown and 1:30 - 7 p.m. at Village Hall. 

Donors will receive a Noodles and Company gift card (while supplies last) a coupon for a free pint of Culver's Custard, and be registered to win a Yorktown gift card. More information is available at villageoflombard.org/blooddrives



Village Board Meeting January 17 to discuss 101 south main street property

Village Board to Discuss 101 South Main Property 

The Village Board will be discussing the proposals related to 101 South Main a regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, January 17, at 7 p.m., at Village Hall, 255 E. Wilson Ave. This meeting is open to the public and will be available for live viewing at villageoflombard.org/live

Holiday Tree and Light Recycling


Holiday Tree Recycling
Residents may place trees, free of tinsel and decorations, at their curbsides, January 7-18, at no charge. 


Holiday Light Recycling
Recycle old lights through Monday, Jan. 21, in front of Lombard Public Works at 1051 S. Hammerschmidt Avenue.  Wiring and the small bulbs are accepted, but not ornaments.
