Fire Prevention Week

Fun and Free Fire Department Open House: October 10

Today’s home fires burn faster than ever. In a typical home fire, you may have as little as one to two minutes to escape safely from the time the smoke alarm sounds. Knowing how to use that time wisely takes planning and practice.

Community members are invited to learn about fire safety at the Lombard Fire Department’s fun and free open house event on Wednesday, October 10, 6-8 p.m., at Fire Station 45, 50 E. St. Charles Rd. More
