Lombard Police Named Top in State for DUI Arrests Based on Size

The Lombard Police Department made 313 driving under the influence arrests in 2017, resulting in the department being named top in the state for DUI arrests based on size. Lombard was also named sixth in Illinois overall, with 5.49 arrests per sworn officer, according to Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists. 

Police are reminding residents that if you choose to drink and drive in Lombard, you WILL be arrested. Drive sober or get pulled over! More

Road construction ahead

Road and Lot Closures Required for Improvement Projects

Wilson Ave. Concrete Rehabilitation 
Lombard Public Works has announced that Wilson Ave., from Stewart to Hammerchmidt Avenues, adjacent to Village Hall, will be closed for concrete rehabilitation, July 23 - August 6, depending on weather. Public access to Village Hall, as well as Lombard's Police Department and Public Works buildings will be available through the east side entrance on Stewart Ave, or the west side entrance on Hammerschmidt.

East Parkside Commuter Lot Resurfacing
The East Parkside Commuter Parking Lot will be resurfaced on Saturday, July 21, depending on weather, which will require the complete closure of the lot. The commuter lot will be closed during the overnight hours of Friday, July 20 and is anticipated to be reopened July 22.
