Cruise Nights Returns Saturday

The Village of Lombard's Cruise Nights and Summer Concerts celebrates its 20th Anniversary beginning this Saturday, June 9, 6-10 p.m. This week's theme is 50's and 60's classics, to go along with classic rock n'roll favorites from Strata - Layers of Rock History, playing from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.!

Stop by Kids' Corner at Park & St. Charles for a fun and free craft from the Village of Lombard!

Summer Blood Drive: Chicago Bears Huddle Up Give Blood 

The Village's Summer Blood Drive is on June 20, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Yorktown Shopping Center, and 1:30 - 7 p.m. at Village Hall. Donors will receive a Chicago Bears "Huddle Up - Give Blood" t-shirt. Donating blood is quick and one donation can save up to 3 lives. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are preferred. Firefighters Receive New Breathing Apparatus Due to Federal Grant

Lombard Firefighters recently trained on new Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), which were purchased with a $349,069 Assistance to Firefighters Grant, the largest Federal Grant ever received by the Lombard Fire Department. SCBAs provide firefighters with breathable air in toxic environments and are essential to safe and effective firefighting and rescue efforts. More

Finley Rd. Lane Closures 

Northbound Finley Rd. is closed for concrete work as part of the Finley Park Development, with anticipated completion scheduled for 6/8, weather depending. At that time, the closures will reverse and southbound Finley Rd. will be closed. Traffic will be diverted onto Edson Ave. during both closures. More
