Residents including Veterans of the Armed Services and local scouts are invited to attend the Village's Memorial Day Ceremony, this Monday, May 28, at 12 p.m. in the Sunken Garden at Lombard Common Park. More

Memorial Day Holiday Reminders
Village Offices will be closed on Monday, May 28 and will reopen Tuesday, May 29 at 8 a.m. Additionally, Waste Management's schedule will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week

Village's Local Tourism Grant Program Helps Fund 2018 Events 

The Village of Lombard has completed its Local Tourism Grand awards for 2018. More than $30,000 was granted to community groups for events that support Lombard as a tourist destination. Grant awards include a number of traditional Lilac Time events, as well as local events and programs such as local sporting events, festivals, and historical reenactments.

Grant Amendments Promote Accessibility for Downtown Lombard 

The Village of Lombard is pleased to announce its approval of significant changes to the existing Downtown Lombard Renovation and Improvement Grant Program, to promote and enhance accessibility improvements in the downtown Lombard area.

The Village has received many service requests from residents and potential customers that would like to visit a given business but the exiting access into an establishments prevents them from doing so. The grant changes will help allow businesses to make additional improvements to meet their needs.  More

Residents Recognized by Board for Public Works Citizens Academy 

Lombard The Village recently hosted its first ever Public Works Citizens Academy, which provided residents the opportunity to learn about Public Works' responsibilities, tour Village facilities and experience hands-on training activities. Participating residents were recognized by the Village Board, in conjunction with Public Works Week, on May 17. More
