Cruise Nights and Summer Concert Series Finale with American English

The Village of Lombard will welcome back American English, a popular Beatles tribute band, at the final 2018 Cruise Nights and Summer Concert Series event in downtown Lombard, on Saturday, August 25, with music beginning at 7 p.m. The stage will be located in the intersection of Park Ave., and St. Charles Rd. 

Attendees aged 21 or older, with proper identification, will be able to purchase alcohol from participating businesses for consumption within the defined concert area. No outside alcohol will be permitted.  More

Tree Safety Reminders About Ribbons from Public Works

The Village is thanking residents and business owners for their community support for students who were burned in a bonfire incident at the start of the summer. 

Due to the health of the trees, Lombard's Forestry Division is requesting that those who tied a ribbon to a tree, please remove the ribbon or periodically loosen the ribbons. Any item tied around trees can have a long term negative affect on the growth of the tree. More

Lombard Fire Department Educates Kindergarten and 3rd Graders

Beginning this fall, the Lombard Fire Department will be focusing In-School Public Education programs on educating kindergarten and third grade students on how to stay safe.

Public Works Modernizes Lombard Traffic Signals 

Lombard Public Works is upgrading 11 intersections throughout the fall, beginning Monday, August 13. The Improvements will take place primarily along Westmore-Meyers Road and 22nd Street. Temporary lane closures will be required. 

The new signals are more durable, longer lasting, more visible, and provide improved safety for pedestrian crossing. More
