Additional Public Parking Now available in North Park lot

To help make visiting Downtown Lombard more convenient, the Village has expanded public parking in the North Park Parking Lot, located just northeast of St. Charles Road and N. Park Avenue. As a result, 22 parking spaces previously designated for permit parking have been converted to 2-hour public parking spaces, increasing the number of 2-hour spaces in the lot from 16 to 38.

The decision was made following a review of parking usage in the lot, which identified that there were more permit-only spaces than necessary. By increasing additional parking spaces for public use, the Village is working to improve access for downtown shoppers, diners and visitors.
