4th of July Fireworks in Lombard

Lombard's annual fireworks display is scheduled for this Monday, July 4, at Madison Meadow Park, at approximately 9:30 p.m., or once the sky is completely dark.

Temporary parking restrictions will be implemented in neighborhoods adjacent to and surrounding Madison Meadow Park. Event-goers driving to the area are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for parking. This year’s event does not include shuttle buses.

Current weather forecasts show a chance of showers and scattered thunderstorms. In the event of inclement weather, the event time may be postponed or rescheduled. The Village will continue to monitor and share updates on our website as well as our social media pages (Facebook & Twitter).

Lombard Police Urge Residents to Leave the Fireworks to the Pros

The Lombard Police Department urges residents to leave fireworks to the professionals. Not only is the use of illegal fireworks dangerous and can lead to serious injury, but the loud noise can also cause distress for our community’s children, seniors, veterans, and pets.

Additionally, the discharging of fireworks, including firecrackers, bottle rockets, and roman candles is not allowed in Illinois under state regulations and is a violation of state law and Village ordinances.

Lombard Police officers will respond and appropriately handle all calls for service regarding fireworks complaints. If found in violation of any fireworks statutes, fireworks may be confiscated and individuals cited. To report violations, call the Lombard Police Department non-emergency number at 630-873-4400.

Please be kind to your neighbors and our community this 4th of July!
