[ARCHIVED] Lombard Cycling Returns to Downtown Lombard

Lombard Bicycling Classic

The Lombard Cycling Classic will take place in downtown Lombard on Tuesday, July 25, with road closures from 5:00 a.m. to 10 p.m.  Residents and visitors are invited to witness these thrilling, high-speed bicycle races while also visiting and enjoying our downtown businesses and restaurants.

This family-friendly event is part of a 10-day nationally-renowned bicycling event series, the Intelligentsia Cup Chicago, which runs from July 21– 30 at various locations in the Chicago area. The event is hosted by the DuPage County Convention and Visitors Bureau, includes several hundred professional and amateur road cyclists competing in races throughout the day on a designated course through downtown Lombard, and will bring national attention to the Lilac Village.

Visitors may find parking in the Parkside Metra Commuter Lot, south of the train tracks, and on-street parking in the surrounding area.
