The Village of Lombard is pleased to announce this year’s top-winning photographs of the 2022 “There’s No Place Like Lombard” Lilac Time Photo Contest, in which residents and guests were invited to submit photos of people, children and pets enjoying their favorite Lombard locations during Lilac Time.
- First Place – “Stop to Smell the Tulips” by Adrianne Nix
- Second Place – “Picnic Fun Before the Concert at Lilacia Park” by Lana Pedersen
- Third Place – “Smelling the Tulips” by Brie Holtrop
All three of the top-placing photos will be displayed at Village Hall, will be used on the Village’s website, and will be featured in next week’s E-Pride Newsletter. The winners will also receive Visa gift cards valued at $100, $50 and $25, respectively.
“I would like to thank everyone who participated in this year’s contest. We received a high number of photos and the competition was fierce,” commented Trustee Dan Militello, chair of the Community Relations Committee, which selects the winning photos. “While all of the submitted photos were beautiful, the winning photos were chosen because they exemplified the charming places that make Lombard such a unique and wonderful place to live, work and visit."
