The Lombard Police Department is partnering with law enforcement throughout the state for a high-visibility enforcement campaign to crack down on impaired driving during the winter holidays. From Dec. 18 - Jan. 4, motorists will see an increase in patrols and traffic stops, along with additional messaging on the dangers of driving impaired. Drive sober or get pulled over! 

The Thanksgiving campaign that ran from Nov. 20 – 30 resulted in 2 DUI Arrests, and 7 driving with a suspended or not-valid license arrests. Additionally, 120 citations were issued including: 38 seat belts violations, 3 car seat violations, 31 speeding violations, 20 cell phone violations, and 28 others.
