The Village of Lombard is continuing committee level discussion of the existing local ban on video gaming.
Four resident advisory committees will discuss the topic as it relates to their subject areas over the upcoming months and make recommendations to the Village Board of Trustees. The Finance and Administration Committee discussed video gaming at their October 22nd meeting. Agenda materials and draft meeting minutes from that meeting are available at www.villageoflombard.org/videogaming. The Public Safety and Transportation Committee will be discussing video gaming at its upcoming November 7th meeting, followed by the Community Relations Committee on Monday, November 12th and the Economic and Community Development Committee on December 10th. All committee recommendations will be transmitted to the Village Board of Trustees for further consideration. Village advisory committees consist of Village of Lombard resident member, chaired by a Village Trustee. All meetings are open to the public.
