[ARCHIVED] Sidewalk and Pedestrian Crossing Improvement Project

Soical Image Public Works Alert

As part of the Village’s Capital Improvements Plan, the Village will be removing a pedestrian traffic signal located on Finley Road south of Pinebrook Drive. As part of the intersection improvements performed in conjunction with the Woodmoor Estates Development (Ken Loch Golf Club site), the signals have been fully improved with the most current pedestrian amenities. As a result, the Village Board directed the removal of the signal near Pinebrook Drive and the extension of sidewalks along the west side of Finley to provide connectivity to the new signal. The project will begin Tuesday, July 28th with the removal of the signal. Starting Monday August 3, 2020, the new portions of the sidewalk will be constructed. These improvements are designed to help improve pedestrian safety. Please use caution when navigating the area.
