Lombard community organizations are uniting to celebrate the holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 7, 4:30 – 8:30 p.m., in historic Downtown Lombard for the Lilac Village’s 14th Annual JingleBell Jubilee celebration. At 5:30 p.m., Village President Keith Giagnorio and Lombard Park District President Sarah Richardt will welcome Santa’s arrival to Lilacia Park and turn on the Holiday Lights at Lilacia Park. Guests are highly encouraged to arrive early to this heavily attended event. It is recommended that guests are in place by 5:30 p.m., to ensure that they do not miss the arrival of Santa or the lighting of the park. A free holiday trolley will provide a warm and convenient connection between the below locations throughout the evening.
Lombard Town Centre/Downtown Lombard Businesses
- 4:45-7:00 pm: Downtown Lombard businesses celebrate the holiday with decorated windows, games, treats and fun Lombard Park District/Village of Lombard
- 5:30-8:00 pm: Tree Lighting and Santa’s arrival in Lilacia Park, photo opportunity with Santa and Mrs. Claus, hot cocoa and cookies
Lombard Historical Society
- 6:00-8:00 pm: Candlelight Tours at the Victorian Cottage
Lombard Bible Church (111 S. Park Ave.)
- 6:00 pm & 7:00 pm: Glenbard East Honors Strings performing two short concerts in the sanctuary; crafts, coffee, and hot cocoa in the gym
Helen Plum Library
- 6:10 pm, 6:50 pm & 7:30 pm: Glenbard East Madrigals
- Singers show, activities in Youth Services starting at 5:00 pm, refreshments available in Adult Services, library open for checking out materials

Helen Plum Library
- Hear performances from the Glenbard East Madrigals and Sorella Singers at 6:10 p.m., 6:50 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. A craft project will be available in Youth Services starting at 5 p.m., and refreshments will be served.
Lombard Bible Church
- Glenbard East Honors Strings will perform three short concerts at 6:00, 6:45 and 7:30 p.m. Crafts and snacks will also be available.
Lombard Historical Society
- The Victorian Cottage Museum will host a “Candlelight Christmas Tour” from 6 - 8 p.m., where participants will glimpse back in time to see a Christmas Eve during the Victorian times. Fun kid’s crafts, live music, cookies and punch will also be available in the Carriage House.
Lombard Park District’s Lilacia Park
- Meet with Santa after his arrival and enjoy other festivities in the park including a bonfire pit, hot cocoa and cookies with Mrs. Claus, a free holiday train ride, and snacks. This year’s display will feature more than 500,000 lights.
Lombard Town Centre
- Stroll along Park Avenue and St. Charles Rd., to see real live dancers as they recreate scenes from “The Nutcracker” in store windows from 5 – 7 p.m.
Maple Street Chapel
- Maple Street Chapel will host festive sing-a-longs from 7 – 8:30 p.m.
