The Village of Lombard is hosting a Spring Blood Drive on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, and is inviting residents to donate blood and make a meaningful impact in their community.
The blood drive will take place at two locations:
- Lower level of the Yorktown Shopping Center (outside Von Maur) | 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- First Church of Lombard Fellowship Hall (220 S. Main St) | 1:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. A single donation can help save up to three lives, providing critical support for patients undergoing cancer treatment, managing chronic conditions or recovering from serious injuries.
Residents who are feeling unwell are encouraged to stay home and reschedule their appointment. Healthy individuals are encouraged to keep their appointments and will complete a brief health screening prior to donating. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.
For more information or to schedule an appointment, please contact Blood Drive Coordinator Carol Bauer at (630) 620-5712 or visit www.villageoflombard.org/blooddrives.
