Project Information

This Project Includes: Multi-sensor inspection of combined sewers along the following streets: 

- Hickory Street: Glenbard Wastewater Treatment Plant to Main St.
- Washington Street: Main St. to Fairfield Ave.
- Fairfield Ave: Washington St. to Lombard Common.

Project Schedule: Tentative-Mid-June to September, weather dependent. Actual Schedule to be determined after contract award.

Traffic Impact: This project will have a very low to zero impact on the general motoring public. No detours will be posted as part of this work.

How does this benefit the Village? The proposed project will evaluate the current condition of the sewer, and identify the locations of the deteriorated/damaged sewers.

Will my road be closed? The roads may be closed temporally to through traffic; however, they will have one lane of traffic open at all times for residents, emergency personnel, deliveries, and garbage and mail service.

If my driveway is inaccessible where do I park? No driveway is anticipated to be impacted.

Will my water or sewer service be affected? No water and sewer service is anticipated to be impacted.
