The Lombard Village Board of Trustees consists of the Village President, Village Clerk and six district Board members. For more information about the Village President, Village Clerk and each Board member, click here.
Public Participation
Each meeting allows residents an opportunity to address the Board on issues of concern. During public participation, residents may speak on specific agenda topics or issues that do not appear on the agenda.
Members of the public wishing to address the Village Board should complete this Participation Form (PDF) or submit an Online Participation Form in advance of the meeting and no later than 5 p.m. Below are some guidelines for public participation:
The Village Welcomes All Views and Opinions
All viewpoints are welcome, positive comments and constructive criticism are encouraged. Speakers must refrain from harassing or directing threats or personal attacks at Board members, staff, other speakers or members of the public. Comments made to intentionally disrupt the meeting may be managed as necessary to maintain appropriate decorum and allow for village business to be accomplished.
Time Limits
Speakers must limit their remarks to no more than three (3) minutes.
When Your Name is Called
If you signed up to speak, your name will be called at the appropriate time during the Village Board meeting. Once your name is called, you may identify yourself for the public record and then address remarks to the Village Board as a whole. Speak clearly and try to limit remarks directly to the issue(s) you have identified.
Groups are encouraged to select a person to speak on behalf of the group/organization. Groups of speakers are also encouraged to consolidate their comments and avoid repetition.
