The Lombard Police Department Sworn members pension fund is regulated by Illinois State Statutes. The Lombard Police Department is classified as a Downstate Police Pension Fund System.
Two elected from the current sworn members, one from the retired member, and two appointed by the Village President. All serve for two year terms at various intervals.
The Pension Board Meets at a minimum of four times per calendar year.(January, April, July and October.)
