Downtown Forum To Be Held September 13

Lombard Town Centre will hold a downtown Forum on September 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Capone's Restaurant in the downstairs meeting room.  The organization will discuss the following:

ORGANIZATION--The upcoming Swap Meet and Golf Outing

PROMOTIONS--Spooktacular

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT--Downtown WiFi Project

Local FEMA Disaster Aid Relief Office Open in Westchester

FEMA has opened a Disaster Aid Relief Office in the north campus of St. Joseph High School in Westchester.  The office, located at 840 Mayfair Avenue, is open every day. According to FEMA representatives, the Westchester office is available to help residents of declared disaster areas with information regarding low interest disaster loans. 

Anyone requesting assistance may visit the office in person or may contact FEMA at 1-800-659-2922 for questions regarding the claim process of online at www.FEMA.gov



Tri-Town YMCA Fundraiser September 11

The Tri-Town YMCA will host a fundraiser on September 11 behind 20 West Wines & Liquors, located at 20 W. St. Charles Road.  The fundraiser, which runs from 3-7 p.m., is a wine and beer tasting.  For a $20 donation, participants will receive a wine glass or beer mug and unlimited tastings from the vendors in attendance.  For more information, contact the Tri-Town YMCA at (630) 629-YMCA.


Helen Plum Library Explores the New Medicare

The Helen Plum Library will feature Dan Cantu who will present "The New Medicare for Baby Boomers and Beyond."  He will review parts A, B and C and cover changes to part D.  This will take place at the Library on September 8 at 7 p.m.
