The Village is seeking vendors to participate in Lombard’s 14th Annual Senior Fair on Wednesday, October 2, at the Lombard Park District’s Madison Meadow Athletic Center (MMAC), 500 E. Wilson Avenue, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The new location will allow a larger area for seniors to visit the growing list of participating vendors.
“The popularity of this annual event has grown over the years,” said Trustee Dan Militello, Chair of the Community Relations Committee, which helps to organize the event. “By switching the venue from the Community Building to the MMAC, we can bring in additional vendors and provide our seniors with an opportunity to learn about useful programs”.
Popular services and vendors in previous years have included flu shots from local pharmacies, blood pressure readings from the Lombard Fire Department, and chair massages. With local agencies, community groups and vendors offering additional services and useful information for seniors. Admission is free for attendees.
Vendors representing for-profit businesses will be required to pay a $100 vendor fee. Not-for-profit groups and government agencies, whose primary purpose is not for commercial gain, will not be required to pay a vendor fee.
All vendors will be required to submit an application, available at villageoflombard.org/seniorfair. For more information or if you have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
