April 30, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Illinois Prairie Path & Great Western Trail

The Village of Lombard invites residents to join in and help preserve natural habitats along the Great Western Trail and the Illinois Prairie Path. Bring friends, family, a service group or come by yourself to be a part of this team. Invasive species of plants spread quickly, and can take over the native plant life of an area if they are not removed. They are a major threat to forest preserves and other natural areas. They form dense thickets that crowd trees and smothers wildflowers. Be a part of the effort by removing invasive species, and picking up garbage on Saturday, April 30th. Contact Public Works with questions.
