FAQs

Why is this project necessary?
The new storm sewer will separate combined sewers (i.e. conveying both sanitary effluent and storm runoff) downstream of the Gatz Pond watershed, in the northeast corner of the Village.

How does this benefit the Village?
The project will reduce potential sewer backups.

Will my driveway be inaccessible?
Driveways along Maple Street may occasionally not be accessible while the new concrete pavement and curb and gutter are curing. Affected resident will be notified prior to work beginning.
