FAQs

How does this benefit me? Due to the deteriorated condition, the current bridge requires weight restrictions that limit the type of vehicle that uses the crossing. The new bridge will allow for most vehicles to cross at this location.

Will my road be closed? Yes, the replacement requires Hill Avenue to be closed at the bridge from mid-July through approximately December. A signed detour using Crescent Blvd will in place for the duration of the project.

If my driveway is inaccessible where do I park? Driveways will be accessible during the majority of the project. As curb and driveways are replaced, the public will not have access to driveways for a period of time, typically three weeks. Parking passes will likely be issued to accommodate business employees.

Will my water or sewer service be affected? No, the project does not include adding or replacing drinking water or sanitary sewer facilities.
