The Police Department will grant permission to individuals on a limited basis. You can call the Police Department front desk at (630) 873-4400 to request permission. When calling, please provide the location of the vehicle, the license plate number and a phone number where you can be reached, and your vehicle will be added to the overnight parking list. Please note that the vehicle must be legally parked and have a current license plate registration sticker.
For extended permission (longer than one week), please contact the Police Department Administrative Coordinator by phone at (630) 873-4400, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or by email.
If you are inquiring about overnight parking for a complex (condominium, townhouse, apartments) because of parking lot work, garage work or other activities of that nature, a Temporary On-Street Parking application must be completed and submitted to the Public Works Department. Once approved, the application will be returned to you via email and it will not be necessary for individual residents of the complex to call in their cars.
