  • Report sanitary sewer overflows to Public Works (630) 620-5740.
  • Report any type of spill into storm sewer drains to Public Works.
  • Wash your car at a car wash or on the lawn.
  • Use "green" laundry and dish soap.
  • Run downspouts through rain barrels or grass to catch the "first flush" when it rains.
  • Use environmentally friendly lawn care products and low-maintenance landscaping.
  • Read the Village’s IEPA ILR40 Permit and latest annual report here.
