The Lombard Police Department Sworn members pension fund is regulated by Illinois State Statutes. The Lombard Police Department is classified as a Downstate Police Pension Fund System. You can find out more about the Downstate Police Pension by clicking here.
The Police Pension fund is comprised of five members:
Two elected from the current sworn members, one from the retired member, and two appointed by the Village President. All serve for two year terms at various intervals.
The Pension Board Meets at a minimum of four times per calender year.(January, April, July and October.)
Public Police Pension Board Meeting Dates for 2013 are:
January 14th, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chief's Conference Room
April 15th, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chief's Conference Room
July 15th, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chief's Conference Room
Oct 21st, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chief's Conference Room
