The information below on recycling events is provided as a service to the residents of the Village of Lombard. Inclusion is not intended as an endorsement of any of these companies or events, nor has the Village purposely excluded any additional parties.

Lombard's Annual Recycling Extravaganza

Join us at Village Hall, 255 E. Wilson Avenue, Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 9 AM to 3 PM for the Village's Annual Recycling Extravaganza!
 
Items that will be accepted for recycling include: latex paint (for a fee), infant car seats, car & marine batteries, cell phones, clothing, furniture, working appliances, books, lumber, scrap metal, bicycles, gently used shoes, crutches, wheelchairs, canes, eyeglasses, hearing aids, flower pots (no plastic), depressurized tanks (fire extinguishers and compressed gas) and American flags.

Unfortunately, no electronics will be accepted this year, as well as household hazardous waste. Please see the flyer for a full list of unacceptable items.  
 
Book Recycling Opportunity
Bring unwanted books to the book rescue where books of all kinds will also be accepted. Residents are invited to take donated books home with them. Unwanted books will be recycled by Combined Resources International.
